Character: Sumeragi Lee Noriega
Timeline: at the end of season 1/episode 25 - before time skip
Personality:
Sumeragi is a kindhearted beautiful woman, currently at the age of 26, being born 26th August. Her blood type is AB and she's 163cm tall.
She was chosen by Veda to become a member of Celestial Being and works as a tactical forecaster at Celestial Being's mothership "Ptolemaios". Without being the ship's captain, she still takes command because apperantly she is the top-ranking officer on the ship.
Her job consists mainly of planning all of the actions and fights the Gundam Meisters take part in. Her strategic predictions are accurate mostly, but her biggest fear is misjudging a situation and leading those around her into danger, which seems to cause her alcoholism as well.
Therefore she's almost never seen without beer or a liquid flask, which makes those around her worry, but Sumeragi does not always try her best at keeping the "children" around her, she admires for their strenght, away from alcohol, as she is seen drinking with Allelujah as celebration for him becoming of age and handing Christina alcohol during work.
"There are times to fight and times to have fun." seems to be the proverb that suits her best, as she uses it herself throughout the series.
Background:
Sumeragi's real name is revealed to be "Kujoh" as she is called this way by Billy Katagiri, her former colleague at collage, both having Leif Aifman as a professor. Billy and Aifman still worked together, until the latter was killed, at the Union's research center, which is why Sumeragi's nationality can be suspected as "Union" as well.
In episode 6 Graham Aker remembers Sumeragi being part of an incident during the 4th Solar Wors that cost the lives of her personnal because of misprediction and miscalculations.
Sumeragi still seems to suffer from this fact, often seen very worried and nervous during fights and is apparently afraid of making such a mistake again, this seems to be the reason for her alcoholism.
When Sumeragi and Katagiri meet again in a bar after years without real contact, Billy's feelings towards her still appaer to not having changed, he still is in love with her.
Whether they have been a couple during their time at collage is not reavealed yet, as is much about Sumeragi's past still kept secret.

Sumeragi was barely able to move at the scenerary that was now in front of her eyes. A blink of an eye earlier there had been an explosion, but now there was nothing. Nothing was familiar to her eyes. She had been in space, with Ian and Feldt, she was sure.
The fight that had been going on in front of her eyes was still flashing through her mind.
"Did ... everything go wrong ...? Again ...?", she wispered, her voice braking, fighting the tears. How could that happen? Why was she alone now, at this strange place?
"What ... did happen to you guys...?" It could not be, could it?
Sumeragi raised from the ground, her legs shaking madly. She needed to try, at least try to find someone, someone who could explain to her what happened.
